Deloitte Insights (DI) is a Deloitte publication currently available in print, web and app. While DI has dabbled in video, research shows that DI’s readers – business executives at the world’s largest companies – are increasingly choosing video as their preferred format. DI wanted to create a branded approach to video as a signature format (or formats) to meet market demand.
Challenge
Social Media Strategy
With social media, we explored a variety of platforms and laid out a plan for implementing short-form videos to reach a wider audience and to be in front of people as they journey from college to professional to executive levels in their careers.
Cost Plan
Each option has its advantages and disadvantages. We recommend Option B because it offers the most control, production power, and flexibility, keeping stakeholders engaged with AI and video developments without relying on outside resources.
AI Generated Video Platform Analysis
We selected 7 representative AI text-to-video platforms for their functionality. Some produce high-quality videos, reducing video production costs. Fliki, Invideo, Pictory, and Visla switch between scenarios, while Synthesia, Synthesys, and Deepbrain AI use real person avatars for storytelling.
5 - Year Strategy
We aim to strengthen our online presence with more videos, as younger audiences prefer them for quick understanding. AI's evolution and new tech will impact our plans, and Deloitte must adapt.
Our five-year plan shows AI initially handling 20% of video production, increasing to 80% as AI advances. This shift, based on expert insights, means fewer people will produce more high-quality content efficiently.
